I just got a great question in from Shannon Hanaway, that I think you may be interested in the answer to:
"I've just been advised that my MLM company won't allow any website- outside their provided template-that customers can link back to for product information and enrolment.
These are my products.
Am I dead in the water or do I just get really creative?"
My Response:
Shannon,
Fantastic questions and by no means are you dead in the water. You just have to think a little bit differently about how you introduce people to your opportunity.
In all honesty, just sending people to your company’s website to learn about your product line isn't going to win you many sales anyway, so it's really more of a non issue than you may think.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. People don't join opportunities they join people.
Therefore nothing that you do on the front end of your business even needs to ever mention your company. Let me explain . . .
Your best prospects will always be the doers like you. The people striving for success.
What do doers look for?
Information and guidance.
This is all your business on the front end should provide. People will join you because they "know" and you've proven you can help them, not because your moon juice is cooler than the next companies.
So on the front end, do what I do.
Create your own newsletter. Your own lead capture page. Communicate daily.
If you get adventurous create a front end product that solves on of your prospects major concerns.
1. Getting more leads 2. Making more money 3. Recruiting without rejection
Allow them to purchase it from you and then . . .
Once all your marketing costs are paid for by your profits, on the back-end give your customers a call.
Ask how you can be of further service, naturally they'll be inquisitive as to what else you're up to.
There, right there, is the time you bring up your back end company.
You may say, but "Daegan I can't create a product."
I have two answers for you.
Yes you can and you don't even need a product to recruit online. It just makes it easier.
Even if you were just to create your own list online. Share stories and marketing strategies daily, and as a call to action at the end of your message you said something like:
"If you'd like some personal help give me a call between 4pm and 8pm tonight at XXX-XXXX I'll be in the office to help"
You'll have people ringing your phone off the hook all day and night. Trust me on that one.
See how we never even bring up our company online following this methodology? Well, that's exactly why you're in no way shape or form dead in the water.

How To Use An AutoResponder.
How To Use An AutoResponder.
An AutoResponder is an essential tool to build
any business online. The reason you go into
business is to find and keep your customers.
An autoresponder will make this job so much
easier for you so you can work on marketing
your business.
There is a bit of confusion around the online
community surrounding autoresponders. Some people
think they are a piece of software for loading
email addresses into so you can then blast thousands
upon thousands of people your message and promote
your business.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
What they were designed for is to allow you to collect
the details of visitors to your web page. The way
you do this is by offering a gift in exchange for
the person's name and email address. You can actually
collect a large number of details but on the first
visit you would not want to try to collect their
home address as you may not have much luck.
When the visitor completes this form they are
giving you consent to send them information
about your business and to deliver the gift that
you offered. An autoresponder is a tool that you
can have up to several hundred pre-written messages
stored to be delivered at pre-determined intervals.
This is a great way to build a relationship with
your future customers.
When someone opts into your list, usually they will
receive a message immediately, then several more a day
or two apart and gradually the messages will get further
apart up until they are around 1 week between mailings.
You will then be able to follow up with broadcast messages
every time you have a special offer for your list or some
content to pass on. The sole purpose is to create and
maintain interest in your prospect. Your list is your
customer base just like in an offline business.
Lets look at some other ways autoresponders can be used.
1. Training- When a customer buys your product or joins
your team you should be collecting their details. You
will provide them instructions to use the product or
train them to build their team if they have joined
your business.
2. Recruiting Affiliates- If you sell a product you
will find that your best affiliates will be a happy
customer. After you collect the details of your customers
you should be reminding them that you have an affiliate
program and that they can make some extra money referring
people to your website.
3. Delivering The Product- You can use the autoresponder
to deliver the digital product. You can add attachments
to the messages like any other email or simply send them
a link to the download page. Directly after the payment
page you will ask the customer to enter their details
so they can get the product delivered and be kept up to
date with software upgrades or whatever is applicable
to your product.
4. Reduce Refunds/Returns- After collecting your new
customers details you would send them at least one
unadvertised bonus. This would not be mentioned in
the sales page and means you would be 'over-delivering'
on your product. Another method I have seen is offering
extra bonus products at say 15 or 30 days after the
sale. The autoresponder can handle this easily and
your refund rate should plummet if you can create
extra value in these bonus offers.
5. Promote Back End Products- It is a lot easier
to make a sale to someone who has brought from
you before. You have their trust and as long as
you recommend good products that make their life
easier or help them build their business this

How to get your product known!
I am asked how do I get sales in other countries and advertise in my own country.
1st of all, You really need to get a website. I have several that I use to promote various things, I sell my own products and affiliate for others. Once you have this, you need to advertise. There are many free sites to use I use a lot. Viral advertising and safelists are always good, because they swap each others ads. You can join many or a few it does not matter, If you want to know my favourites, just ask.
Surfing for credits is a pain, but sometimes a necessary one. However if you advertise their sites on others, many of them will give you free credits. This is all trial and error. about which will suit you the best.
You can join Auction sites, like Ebay and E Bid. On ebid you can have FIVE shops for FREE and sell whatever you like within reason.
The trouble with ebay is their rising costs. I have had an ebay shop for 4 years and I think they are getting greedy with their commissions. But if you just want to sell the odd product just stay a regular member, you can auction or fix a price. But watch your listing and final value costs, and make sure you work this in your price structure.
I also have shops on the open Internet and also design my own products and spread them around different places. I have bought personal gifts (I also make these to sell) I bought my daughter a book, written by someone who writes her own. This is not expensive to do, you can use a home printer and design your own cover, there are many copyright free sites for artwork. A simple binding machine will hold it all together for you. You can personalise it for yourself or for the buyer, who may want it as a gift IE. Special Fairy stories for Anna, etc. or Special Fairy stories from the secret workshop of xxxxxx, see what I mean? You can even request a photo and copy and paste this onto the cover for the recipient. There is so much you can do to promote and sell your own product, you can make it a special edition, IE so many copies only. But do not forget to copywrite it! This is easily done. Make a copy and post it to yourself, clearly label the envelope with what is inside and sign the seal. DO NOT OPEN IT! Leave a copy sealed in the envelope, this is your proof that you made it on that certain day!
